A busy house: Cedar Terrace

Anna Marmalade has always been intelligent, kind, and a bit of an entrepreneur, so it was no surprise to anyone who knew her, especially her husband Richard, that she was the one to start Cedar Terrace up.

Anna and Richard have two children, Stephen and Rupert, and they have recently moved to Foxbridge. Richard is a banker, and even with a big wage, they struggled to find a suitable house for themselves in the village due to the number of new residents arriving. Eventually, they agreed a deal to buy Cedar Terrace, not realising how big it was. Living in a city their whole lives, Anna and Richard much prefer smaller homes, and weren't happy with the house.
"It's too quiet!" said Rupert. "I miss our apartment."

So the decision was made by Anna to set up a business- not just to rent out these flats, but to make them into a home, for everyone who lived with them. She loved to cook for people and make everything look perfect- so when Scott Catwood and Leonard Skipper immediately showed interest in her rooms, she knew they would be a great fit.
Scott has two daughters, Hallie, and then Tallulah. Hallie loves to dance, help her teacher at school and play at being a mama, while Tallulah likes outer space, climbing and animals. Scott is a carpenter, so very busy during the day.

Leonard is a single dad too, to his little twins, Orla and Oscar. The twins love playing games and especially playing with the other kids in the house.

After school, Anna watches all of the kids when they play outside. Tallulah tells Anna about her day at school, while Hallie, Stephen and Oscar plan a fun game with a balloon Oscar has found. Orla adores Rupert, and has convinced him to give her a ride on his back.

Orla and Oscar live with their dad at the top of the house. Leonard sleeps on the sofa under a cosy blanket, and there's a shelf for food and their crockery. Orla and Oscar have fun in their flat- it has their playmat, their rocking horse, some toys, and their beds. Anna made them their very own blankets.

At the bottom of the house, the Catwood family have their home. It is all decorated and chosen by Anna. There's a bed for everyone (Tallulah has top bunk), and a microwave to make food when Scott has time on the weekend. The table is useful for doing homework. The girls even have enough space to dance in their bedroom area, and they have a big basket of toys to choose from. Tallulah's favourite colour is red, so she especially likes their home.

Anna's own flat is perfect for her family. There are bunk beds for her sons, and they have a play area with exciting toys like volcanos and bears and swords. Anna and Richard's bed is big and cosy, with a bedspread they brought from the city they used to live in. There's a place to cook and a place to wash paws. Anna's very keen on cleanliness, as you can tell. The boys love their car rug, and getting to play together and with their new friends. It is a bigger flat than their old one, and they don't have to sleep on the sofa bed anymore!

Cedar Terrace is a great place to live! All three families look after each other and there are lots of friends to play with whenever you want them.
P.S. Can anyone recognise just where the photo that is over Scott's bed was taken? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Hi Fox! You had a brilliant idea accommodating three families in Cedar Terrace. The three families have all they need in their own flats but the good thing is that they are all like a big family. As always, I love to look at the little details you add to your houses and I think I know where the picture over Scott´s bed was taken. Could it be SSK shop?

  2. I love what you have done and may do something somewhat similar it’s mine, though I was thinking of making it a care home for some of my grandparents sets. I believe that photo over Scott’s bed does look like SSK.
